A guide to setting-up and monitoring metrics in your strategy

Metrics are measures that are constantly shifting and they tell you how you are tracking in relation to a given KPI and its relevant objectives.

There are 3 types of metrics you can track in MDC. These include:

  1. Integration Metrics: These are metrics where data is retrieved from you connected Integrations like Google Analytics, Facebook and Instagram.

  2. In-App Metrics: These are performance metrics that are tracked within your MDC workspace for each business. They include measures like the number of Activities Created or Number of Actions where the status has changed.

  3. Data Entry Metrics: These are metrics where you enter the data yourself on a scheduled basis to keep track of performance.

How to Create Metrics

  • Navigate to 'Targets & Insights'

  • Click 'Targets' then 'Metrics' from the dropdown menu

  • Click 'Add', a popup window will show.

  • Select 'Data Source' from the dropdown menu. Additional information will be displayed depending on your selection.

  • Complete the form and click 'Save'

Tip: Take a moment to explore the different metrics available to you. This library will grow as we add more integrations in future.
