Pre-requisites: You'll need a Postmark Account and My Digital CMO (CMO Plan) to activate this feature.

How to Set Up a Postmark Account for My Digital CMO

My Digital CMO offers a variety of features to help you personalize your communication with clients. One of these features is the ability to send custom emails using your own email address. To use this feature, you will need to have a Postmark account. In this article, we will guide you through the process of setting up a Postmark account for use with My Digital CMO.

Step 1: Creating a Postmark Account

The first step in setting up a Postmark account is to visit the Postmark signup page. Follow the instructions provided to create your account. Once your account is created, you will be ready to generate a Server API key.

After logging into your Postmark account, navigate to the Servers tab. Click on Add New Server to create a new server. Give your server a name and click Save. Once the server is created, you will be able to see the API Tokens section. Copy the Server API key provided as you will need this for the integration with My Digital CMO.

Please Note: Postmark accounts must be approved before you can send custom emails to users outside your domain. An API error will be returned if this step is not completed. 1. Open My Digital CMO and navigate to Settings > Master Settings.

2. Locate the 'Custom Email' section, and click “Set Up” next to Postmark.

3. Paste the API Key you copied into the 'API Key' field.

4. Enter your desired email address in the 'From Email Address' field.

5. Enter your preferred alias in the 'Email Alias Name' field. This is the name that will appear in the 'From' field when recipients receive your emails.

6. Click 'Save' to apply the changes.

Congratulations, you have now successfully configured your custom email address in My Digital CMO! You can now test it out by sending an email notification and enjoy this personalized feature.
