Setting Up Custom Email Addresses with My Digital CMO
My Digital CMO offers the ability to create custom email addresses for both inbound and outbound email notifications. This feature is available for users on the Strategist and CMO plans.
How to Set Up Custom Email Addresses
To set up custom email addresses, follow these steps:
Navigate to Settings > Master Settings
Scroll to Custom Email
Enter a outbound domain [eg. outbound.mydomain.com]
Enter an inbound domain [e.g., inbound.mydomain.com]
Enter a sender alias e.g., Strategy
Click 'Save'
Important: Sender Alias, should not contain white spaces
Tips. Please ensure you enter a different inbound and outbound domain.
Adding DNS Records
When you click "Save," you will be presented with a number of DNS records to add to your domain settings. These records are necessary to optimize the deliverability of your emails and to verify ownership of your domain. It is important to enter these settings carefully and correctly for your domains to be verified.
Once you have entered the DNS records, click "Verify." Please note that it can take up to 72 hours for the changes to fully propagate, so if you experience any issues, try again after a couple of attempts. If you continue to have trouble, do not hesitate to contact our support team for assistance.
